Girls Uniform
SUMMER UNIFORM
- Short sleeve school polo t-shirt.
- School beige skirt or school beige trousers. Skirt length should be no shorter than 4 fingers above the knee.
- White or black socks
- Low heeled black shoes or trainers. (Small amounts of white, e.g., soles, logos, are permitted).
Converse shoes or sandals are not permitted.
WINTER UNIFORM
- School dark blue round necked jumper.
- Long sleeve polo t- shirt.

- Skin-coloured, white, dark blue or black tights optional, not leggings.
- School anorak (compulsory).
- White or black socks (skin-coloured tights optional).
- Low heeled black shoes or black trainers (Small amounts of white, e.g., soles, logos, are permitted).
Converse shoes or sandals are not permitted.
Boys Uniform

WINTER UNIFORM

- School beige trousers.

PLEASE NOTE:
That student participating in official school functions must wear the official school uniform.
**All clothing should be clearly marked with the student’s name and must be clean, tidy and pressed at all times.
Further please note that:
- Students should be in the correct uniform at all times, which should also be clean and tidy. This applies to shoes and/or appropriate black trainers too. No converse or sandals are permitted.
- Jewellery is not permitted other than a small pair of earrings (boys not allowed, girls only - one each on the ear lobe) or one item of religious significance. Other items will be confiscated immediately by members of staff and will be returned at the end of the semester. Second offence-confiscated until the end of the year.
- Sunglasses may only be worn after a medical certificate is produced. d. Scarves (navy blue only) allowed with winter uniform.
- Valuable personal belongings, including expensive jewellery, are not to be brought into school and will be confiscated if used or are visible.
- Girls’ hair and make-up: Extreme hairstyles (partly shaved, streaked, braided, etc) are not permitted. Unnatural coloured hair (green, pink, blue, purple etc) is also not acceptable. Students with hair that is deemed untidy or inappropriate will be sent home. Make-up should be discreet, excessive make-up is not allowed in school. Only clear nail varnish and/or a French manicure is allowed.
- Boys’ hair: Tidy, clean and well-kept with no fancy or inappropriate hairstyles. The over application of hair products (wax, gel, etc) will not be tolerated. Students with hair that is deemed untidy or inappropriate will be sent home.
P. E. Kit for Boys and Girls:
- American Academy PE t-shirt
- School tracksuit
- School shorts (if leggings are worn, then school shorts must be worn over them)
- Trainers
*Students not wearing the school’s PE uniform will not be permitted to participate in the lesson and will be marked as not attending.

- Blazer.
- Low heeled black shoes or trainers (Small amounts of white, e.g., soles, logos, are permitted).
- Only black and navy scarves are permitted.
Converse shoes or sandals are not permitted.

Third offence – confiscated until the end of the year.

Tidy, clean and well-kept with no fancy or inappropriate hairstyles. The over application of hair products (wax, gel, etc.) will not be tolerated. Students with hair that is deemed untidy or inappropriate
will be sent home.
Clean shaven - boys who are not clean shaven will be sent home.
Repeated offences will lead to disciplinary action. Students with extremely short hair or who are unshaven will not be allowed to take part in the National parades.
